Dear friends,
“He is not here, He has risen.” (Mt. 28:6). These words remind us of the joyous news we celebrate at Easter. Christ has conquered death. He has paved the way for us to return to the Father. And thus, indeed Happy Easter! May the Risen Christ bless you and your loved ones with peace, hope, and joy.
As we continue to celebrate the Easter season, I want to remind you that Easter is not just a single day on the calendar; it is a way of life. It is the story of light breaking into darkness, hope rising from despair, and life overcoming death. At the heart of Easter is the resurrection of Jesus Christ inviting us into a new way of seeing, living, and loving.
The spirit of Easter calls us to be people of hope. In your studies, relationships, services, and even your struggles, never lose sight of the hope that Christ’s resurrection brings. Let this hope give you courage in difficult times and compassion for those who are hurting around you.
Easter is also a call to renewal. As spring brings new life to earth, let it also bring renewal to your heart. Are there habits you need to let go of? Is there someone you need to forgive? Is God inviting you to trust Him in a more personal and intimate way? Let this season be a chance to grow more fully into the person God created you to be.
Finally, the Easter message sends us out to share this new life with the world. Look for opportunities to bring peace, joy, and kindness to our campus and community. Even small acts of love can be powerful witnesses to the resurrection at work in your life.
May you walk in the light of the risen Christ, and may His love shine through in all you do.
With joy and prayers,
Quang A. Nguyen, SCJ.
